The transportable "unit" is attached with a standard quick release on the crossbar. So, if your recumbent bike has a standard quick release fork and it fits into the vehicle it works. Of couse also recumbent bikes with 15mm or 20mm through axles can be fixed to the fork mount with adapters or extenders.
